Habit
Definition
Working on this Habit
Metacognition
Thinking about your thinking and how you think.
I plan to work on this habit by asking
asking myself questions. The first week I
heard this, I stopped more to ask myself how
I just solved a problem for example.
Remaing Open To Continuous
Learning
NOT sticking to old habits, thinking differently, or willing to learn
new and challenging things.
Over Christmas break I learned to snowboard,
even though I usually ski.
Thinking Flexibly
Willing to think differently, or change how you usually do things.
I thought of someone I didn't really like and
decided to talk to this person and learn some-
thing about them.

Over the Winter Break, we had to think of something we wanted to learn (actually WANTED to learn), and after
some thinking I decided I really wanted to learn how to snowboard. I have been a skiier my whole life, but I've only tried
snowboarding a few times when I was younger. After a full day of snowboarding, some "lessons" from a friend, and lots of
intense practice and falling, I can call myself a beginner snowboarder!
